On the evening of July 25, 2025, the Asia Hospitality Awards (AHA) 2025—one of the two premier categories organized by the Asia Awards Organization (AAO)—was ceremoniously held at The Shilla Seoul Hotel in South Korea. During the event, Lagoona Bình Châu Resort Village was officially announced as the winner of the most prestigious award in the “Concept Resort” category: “Asia’s Finest Concept Hotel 2025.”

This international milestone signifies a major recognition for a Vietnamese resort project with pan-Asian stature, while affirming the unique vision and sustainable development philosophy pursued by the developer, Đạt Gia, throughout the project’s creation journey.

Asia Hospitality Awards – The Pinnacle of Asia’s Hospitality Industry

Established with the mission to honor the best developments and organizations in the realms of architecture, design, and resort operations, the Asia Hospitality Awards (AHA) is widely regarded as one of the region’s most prestigious and highly specialized accolades. This year’s program was held in Seoul, bringing together over 200 delegates from 10 countries and featuring more than 300 nominations across categories including resort, hotel, cruise, wellness, sustainable living, hospitality branding, and more.

The theme for this year, “Vibrant Asia,” emphasizes breakthrough innovation, and the critical role of architecture and design in shaping Asia’s energetic and vibrantly expressive future, in parallel with sustainable development. Amid the sophistication of Winners’ Night, standout projects were announced—among them, Lagoona Bình Châu, a distinguished representative from Vietnam, was honored.

Lagoona Bình Châu: Where Nature, Culture, and Humanity Converge

Situated in the heart of Bình Châu commune, within Ho Chi Minh City, Lagoona Bình Châu Resort Village is a resort and beachfront villa complex spanning nearly 60 hectares, masterfully planned to harmonize with nature under a unique “Three-Harmony” principle: one-third allocated to Forest, one-third to Water, and one-third to architectural structures.

The design deeply respects and preserves the native ecosystem, including more than 22 hectares of century-old primary mangrove forest—a rare coastal ecosystem in southern Vietnam. In its master plan, Lagoona Bình Châu is divided into three zones: Residential Resort, Nature Resort, and Royale Resort & Spa. Anchored in sustainable development, Lagoona Bình Châu skillfully blends conservation and modernization to create an immersive nature-based resort experience—rich in cultural identity, luxurious, and compliant with international standards.

“Concept Hotel” — Not Just Architecture, But a Vision

The AHA 2025 jury’s choice of Lagoona Bình Châu as Asia’s Finest Concept Hotel marks a clear acknowledgment of the project’s potential to shape the future of resort living in Asia: a place where humanity lives in full harmony with nature; where cultural roots are honored and manifest; where creation transcends architecture—it is a vision in itself.

This award not only celebrates the distinctive planning form but also honors the pioneering spirit behind the project’s development under the “Three-Harmony” philosophy, which Lagoona Bình Châu has steadfastly followed since its inception.

As the developer and the project owner, Đạt Gia regards this award not solely as a tribute to Lagoona, but more profoundly, as a testament that Vietnamese values—when invested in with seriousness and visionary planning—can stand shoulder to shoulder with iconic regional counterparts. For Đạt Gia, a true resort is a place where people can return to nature, culture, and themselves. Lagoona Bình Châu embodies that belief—and we are honored to be recognized on an international stage such as AHA. Our journey has only just begun; with our commitment to sustainable development, respect for nature, and creating differentiated living experiences, Lagoona Bình Châu is not just a project—but a declaration about the future of Vietnamese hospitality: sophisticated, richly cultural, and enduring.
